Who We Are
Our church name is derived from the priorities God has placed on our hearts:
Garden
God’s original design for mankind (Genesis 1:31) is holy and has not changed since the days of Eden. We believe he is calling us “back to the garden.” This means relying on and keeping His Word (Psalm 119:97), not adding to it nor taking from it (Deuteronomy 12:32). This also means being in intimacy with the Father (John 17:3) and living surrendered to Jesus (John 15:5).
Fellowship
We believe fellowship to be an essential component of a healthy church; God calls us to do life together (Colossians 3:16). To that end, we have a meal before every service. We are a church that is heavily invested in the welfare of each member (Hebrews 10:24).
Church
We are a Christian church, part of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). As such, we proclaim the Gospel (John 3:16-17), love God and love others (Matthew 22:37-39). We are committed to discipleship (Matthew 28:19-20), with each member encouraged to become more mature in faith and in obedience to Christ (Ephesians 4:13).
